EL CLASICO: BARCELONA REMAINS UNBEATEN IN 2-2 DRAW AGAINST REAL MADRID

Leo Messi celebrates scoring the second against Real Madrid.

Barcelona maintains unbeaten record in La Liga this season despite having a man sent off in a 2-2 draw with Real Madrid on Sunday.

Sergi Roberto was shown a straight red card with the score 1-1 at the end of the first half of an ill-tempered El Clasico after he appeared to slap Real defender Marcelo which reduced the home side to 10 men.

Luis Suarez volleyed Barca into the lead after 10 minutes, only for Cristiano Ronaldo to quickly reply.

Lionel Messi put the champions 2-1 ahead on the counter-attack shortly after half-time only for Gareth Bale to level with a brilliant first-time strike in the 72nd minute.

Barca now finish their season with home games against Villarreal and Real Sociedad and a trip to Levante as they look to become the first side to go unbeaten in a 38-game La Liga season.
