We have seen that Champions league

dramatic, sensational and incredible Champions League Quarter Final Draw.
Where Real Madrid
miraculously scaled through the quarter final stage with an aggregate of 4-3 against Juventus after losing 3-1 to
the Italian mafia at the Bernabeu in
the second leg of the quarter finals making Real Madrid have secured a
place in the Champions League
semi-final for a record
eighth consecutive season.
Bayern Munich
2-1 come back at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in the first leg
and goalless draw against Sevilla in
the second leg, Sevilla being unable
to catch up with the away goal they needed to qualify making Bayern Munich qualify for the
semi-finals with a 2-1 aggregate
victory.
Roma surprised
the world with an astonishing second leg comeback to beat Barcelona 3-0 with a 4-4 aggregate, qualifying for the
champion league semi-finals on away goals. The last time they qualified for
semi-final was in 1983/84 against Dundee
United winning 3-2.
Finally, Liverpool reached
their first Champions League semi-final for 10years after coming from behind to
win Manchester City and secure a 5-1 aggregate win to quality for
the Final Four
The final four consist of on English
team (Liverpool), one Italian team (Roma), one Spanish team (Real Madrid) and one German team (Bayern Munich).
For the first time in eight year no
nation (and specifically Spain) has more than one team in the UEFA Champions
League semi-finals.
Barcelona's
elimination meant this could not be the sixth time one league has supplied
three semi-finalist. Sevilla's fall
than ensured that the Spanish Liga did not have more than one team standing at
that stage or the first time since 2009/10 (Spain has not been totally absent
from the semi-finals since 2006/07).
